As we said goodbye to West Point, and made our way to Leavenworth, we took time to catch up with family and friends...but as always - couldn't catch up with everyone.
We visited Washington D.C. to hang out with some old Army friends and see the Capitol.
We spent some time at the ocean in New England with family.
We saw cousin Bailey the day after she was born! Lance was as sweet as always with the baby. Lexi, of course, was most concerned with how she looked!

The kids really enjoyed their time at the beach(es) - playing in the surf, finding critters in the tidal pools, and building sand castles.

And Lance decided he was ready to start swimming while we were in Michigan, thanks to Grammy.
