So there I was … crawling on my hands and knees through Elk River waters ... stalking the rising 18 inch cutthroat trout rising in a deep-water eddy. Watching, planning, casting, re-thinking the approach ... taking a break ... changing flies ... taking about an hour before that "special moment" when a fortuitous cast brought the dry fly to the right place at the right time ... watching the take ... setting the hook ... and then successfully netting that beautiful wild trout!!!!!Coleman, AB, Canada: Crowsnest River and St. Mary's: 24" Rainbows
